[As the video begins to play, Seventeen is looking down at the journal with arms crossing while tapping his finger on the side. For someone who's been gone for a week, he's not entirely upset.]

Okay, to anyone who was kidnapped by the Malnosso in the past, were there any cases with experiments being permanent and not temporary?

[A sigh escapes still in disbelief. Who is he kidding? He closes his eyes and tilts his head a little higher. He shifts his eyes back to the book.]

If you can't answer that, at least answer some recommendation on food. I'm starving.

Afraid any of them could really. Just depends on what the Malnosso hope to find out I guess. Although that is pretty unusual. It's normally no more than a couple weeks.

I highly recommend the doughnut suggestion. You just can't go wrong with a good doughnut! Only problem is that one will never, ever be enough of those perfect cakes of honey.

Well, whatever. It's not like I don't have anything else better to do. [He's grinning. Why is he grinning and flexing those fingers? And... funny Vash mentions that.]

Naw, I'll probably have to skip those.

Skip doughnuts!? Now if you had tried one before you never would even THINK about saying something like that!

Not everyone's like you, doughnut eater. Just some real breakfast is good enough for once. [He sounds kind of bitter towards the end. Gone for almost a week and all.]

Doughnuts are real breakfast! It's the perfect time of day for doughnuts! [As anytime of the day is!] Come on! I'll meet you at the bakery and get some too! You won't regret it!

[Not cool Vash! There's a reason why he says no. So for now he just hangs up. He sighs a relief to himself after getting away from that. In a sense, he kinda challenged Rikku. Eating a doughnut is like loosing right now.

It's not too long anyway where he happens to be nearby the bakery. He pauses trying not to step any closer. Don't tell him... Seventeen looks around. Okay good, no sign of blondie. Time to walk away.]

HEYYYYYYY! I knew you couldn't resist! [Vash pops up out of nowhere and wraps his arm around the human!android's neck.] Just wait until you taste HALF the stuff they have in there! You'll never want to leave!

[That sends shivers up his neck when Vash comes from behind. He tries to break away quickly to get his comfort zone.]

You got the wrong idea! I just happened to pass by.

An even better reason to swing by! One of the most perfect reasons in fact! [Vash starts trying to move towards the bakery's front door. He won't pull TOO hard, but there is some force behind it.]

What?! [Not like it's hard to pull him now. At first he drags his feet. Eventually he just follows in with a sigh. He can't deny the fact his stomach's growling. The one time he regrets being human now. There will be revenge.]

[Vash will release Seventeen's neck only after he's lead them to a table to set it.] Two dozen of your freshest doughnuts! You can't have a day old as your first doughnut after all!

[Seventeen has all of thirty seconds to leave while Vash is grabbing the doughnuts from the counter.]

[Finally some fresh air after that drag. Seventeen takes a deep breath after suffering from that experience. Somehow this is turning into a game which Seventeen can't win from. Despite that, he's not ready to call it quits, least not yet. When Vash walks up to the counter, he's using the time to make his escape.

He casually speed walks towards the door with a winning grin. Bye Vash, was fun, but not really.]

[Oh, it was lots of fun! Seems like Seventeen has gotten away! That is until he slows his speed walking just a bit and Vash seems to come out of no where again.] Hey! Great idea! It's much better to eat these outside on such an amazing day like this rather than inside!

[Cue the lost and confusing look here. He can't win with this guy now, not any human can anyway. Seventeen just wants to drag a palm over his face and resisting at the moment. Another sigh escapes admitting defeat.]

Did someone put you up for this? [Just to make sure before he just follows him.]

Hm? [He only half hears the question as he's busy opening one of the boxes of donuts. Popping one into his mouth.] Why would you think that?

Kinda expecting someone to get me back. [Just grins at the thought of it. It eventually saps out of him when the hunger growls from his stomach again. The hunger is staring to get hard to bear, and those doughnuts are looking good to eat.] Okay, okay, just give me one.

Yeah? And they would use donuts to seek revenge? That's just too cruel! [He sadly means that as he holds the box open for Seventeen to take his pick.]

Eh, it's all fun and games. [He shrugs as he reaches in the box for one. It didn't seem like a big deal for him.] Kinda like how you're having.

[He casually say. Oh yeah, he's already on to you Vash. He wasn't made yesterday. Seventeen finally takes a bite with a pleasant hum.] Hn, they actually taste better.

Hm? [Vash hums as his mouth is too full of donuts to answer. We're sorry, do you think doughnut eating is a GAME to him!? No! This is serious business! Which is why he's a bit disappointed with Seventeen's reaction.]

What do you mean better!? Did someone give you a day old before or something?

[Vash, please. He's enjoying it better now than before. In fact, he just grins to himself.]

Nope.

[Pops the last bit of it in his mouth. Need to ask better questions if Vash wants a real answer. At least he's asking.]

They didn't give you a tainted doughnut, did they?

It has nothing to do with the doughnuts. [While Vash is in the state of... whatever that is, he reaches in the box for another one. Seventeen has the most patients.] Just being human.

[Let's see if he gets the joke.]

[Usually Vash might have already devoured all of the doughnuts, but he was trying to pace himself so someone new to doughnuts can fully enjoy them as well.

The joke is completely lost on himself.] Wait, so is this your first doughnut or not? [Not just the joke, but everything is lost on Vash currently. Or so he chooses to act.]

[RUDE Vash. At least two is enough.]

In Luceti. [Leaving it like that. There's probably a history, but that's beneath him. Man Vash, he's not sure what to make of you anymore. Not that he really cares. Whatever floats his boat.] If you don't mind, I'm going to get some real breakfast and a car.

[Mind as well enjoy the experiment while he still can, right? He goes ahead and begins walking away with a wave of hand over his head.] See ya.
