3rd Battery [video | action in Goldenrod]

[17 is on camera and don't mind the flying dirt behind him.]

Quick question. Is it normal for Pokémons to have 18 move--[And a flying dirt hits the side of his head.] --19 moves? Seriously, this guy is just level one and all he's been doing is learning new moves by the minute.

[Cue 17 picking up the new Sableye with it's creepy grin.]

Weirdo, yeah I'm talking to you.

[ooc: Anyone walking by watch out for potholes.]

That does seem a rather exorbitant amount for such a low level Pokebeast.

Was this a specimen you captured yourself, or did it hatch from an egg?

Hrm. I believe it is not uncommon for Pokebeasts to hatch with knowledge of attack techniques inherited from the ones that sired it.

Not usually with quite so many, I think, but as you say it is hardly a reason to complain.

The difference has never been explained, to my knowledge. Though it may simply be that the wild Pokebeasts do not have the opportunity to reach the same level of STRONGNESS as those with trainers, and thus have less power to pass on.

Or it may simply be another feat of illogic in the way in which this world operates.

If he hatched from an egg it could happen. They inherit it from their parents, one of mine had nineteen moves when he hatched as well.

I know my growlithe hatched from parents of the same species that were pretty high levelled...maybe that kind of pairing just doesn't happen in the wild. [ ...crap, he's thinking about pokemon breeding again. ]

But honestly I don't expect everything here to make sense.

That seems to be the only way to deal with a lot of the things here. [ he does it, but it doesn't mean he likes it. it's very slowly annoying him. ]

If it's hatched from an egg, it's possible. My Charmeleon started out with 44 moves when she hatched from her egg.

That or your pokemon's been sneaking in new moves behind your back.

They Are Called Egg Moves And There Does Not Seem To Be An Upward Limit On How Many They Can Be Born With
The Obvious Downside Is Moves They Already Know Wont Be Learned As They Level Up Which Made One Of My Pokemon Very Frustrated She Was Never Going To Learn Any New Tricks
But It Makes Them Much More Straightforward To Level

I think so. If you hatch them yourself they can pretty much have an armory on hand from the start.

Don't know if I'd call it cheating, but it's definitely got its advantages.

Normally only four are allowed at a time. This place breaks the rules.
