[As the video begins to play, Seventeen is looking down at the journal with arms crossing while tapping his finger on the side. For someone who's been gone for a week, he's not entirely upset.]

Okay, to anyone who was kidnapped by the Malnosso in the past, were there any cases with experiments being permanent and not temporary?

[A sigh escapes still in disbelief. Who is he kidding? He closes his eyes and tilts his head a little higher. He shifts his eyes back to the book.]

If you can't answer that, at least answer some recommendation on food. I'm starving.

Think I might be the only one, though, and it was pretty harmless. Just bumped my age back to what it would've been if I hadn't been sent home.

Okay, so this'll probably sound a little crazy, but... Long story short? I've been bounced back and forth between this place and hoe a couple times. So, when I finally came back after the last go-around, the Malnosso grabbed me about a minute after I woke up, and a couple hours later, I was dropped back with an aging shift that bumped me up to the "right" age.

[He pauses, realizing he should probably clarify.]

And by that I mean the age I'd be if I never left at all.

In other words, your life got an upgrade.

[Which is weird. He's also seen how the Malnosso will hold someone here even with their journal gone.]

Well, it saved me a couple headaches, anyway. Imagine having to tell someone that you're a twenty year old stuck in a sixteen year old body.

[Keeping track of your age when body and mind don't match up would be odd.]

[Well, even back home he's no different. Androids don't age. Sorry if there's a grin there.]

[Riku raises an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. So had this guy been tossed around, or was there more to it? Riku hasn't quite realized that he's an android yet.]

Sort of. No matter how many years will pass, I'll still be like this.

Huh. So are you some kind of immortal?

[A good, maybe? Demigod? Something else entirely? Either way, #17's definitely got his interest.]

Only if they manage not to kill me.

[He breathes.]

I'm an android. [Well, cyborg to be exact.]

An android? Huh, must be some advanced technology: you look just like a human.

[Then again, he's met computer programs that look like humans in jump suits. Maybe it's not a stretch.]
